Monday Night Video Editing
Well, I finally got around to editing the footage from Friday night's Johnny Conqueroo show. Only had one complete song and one camera angle, since I couldn't really use my camera stabilizer. I started out with my 10-16mm lens set up on the Sony a6500 mounted on the Piloyfly H2 gimbal. The lens ended up being way too wide for the distance I was from the stage, so I tried to zoom it in to 16mm. That messed up the balance of the gimbal and it started overloading, because it was too front heavy. Scrapped that idea and got my 25mm Batis and a small tripod and set up on the front edge of the stage. Not exactly what I wanted but got some pretty good video anyway. Now the audio on the other hand is not great, used my Rode video mic pro, but it just doesn't sound the greatest. Trying to find a better solution for that in the future. Check it out below.
Last Night
Had a great time last night at Moon Dance Amphitheater, pretty nice place for seeing a show, but really hot with it starting at 7 PM. Got some great shots, and hopefully some good video. Have to work today, so it will be a couple of days before I can get to the video.
